Backing up a successful design is perhaps the most difficult task in design and engineering. Faced with the challenge, the crew at JConcepts once again went to work to outfit the team during the 2015 IFMAR World Championships with a body capable of enhancing performance. This updated Silencer dubbed the S2, rocks some familiar features but rolled together with a low-profile stance.Slammed overall height allows the S2 to whisk through the turns with a low center of mass while the progressive cab design provides plenty of front-end force for superior balance and steering. A channeled roof directs the flow through the center of the body while also increasing the rigidity of cockpit. The dual side-window design that has become famous on the JConcepts bodies remains to bring a traditional feel to the layout. The upper side-pods feature distinct vents used to help relieve hot air build-up inside the body for those high-powered runs or hot days at the track. Carved and detailed side-pods edge the body giving the highly aero unit a stylish look with and tight fit and finish. The body is built to accommodate the TLR lay-down transmission, giving all out performance.Performance validation was delivered by Ryan Maifield during the JConcepts Indoor National Series. During the triple A-main events, Maifield rose to the occasion taking a very close battle in A1 and A2 against his closest rivals. Maifield states, ?The S2 body fits the 3.0 like a glove and has the proportions I like for a 2wd buggy. The cab is low but has the windshield in a place that provides a lot of stability.? Roll with the IFMAR World Champion, the S2 by JConcepts.Features:
