Dragon is re-releasing its superb large-scale model of the world-famousM2 0.50-caliber heavy machine gun. When first released this 1/6 scalemodel was highly sought after, and now it’s available again. The M2machine gun was designed at the end of WWI and entered US service in1933, but it has been used in innumerable conflicts around the worldsince then, right up to the present time. "Ma Deuce", as it’s sometimesreferred to, can be vehicle-mounted or, as in this kit, fitted on atripod for ground-based firing. The M2HB continues to be manufactured inthe USA and under licence elsewhere, with more than three million estimated to have been made so far.

The kit form of this veteran 12.7mm weapon has intricate detail andoffers pleasurable assembly. It comes with a workable and foldabletripod, and a detailed ammunition box and realistic 0.50-cal ammo beltare included too. Metal parts for the handles and ammo box latchesensure strength and scale appearance.
