The Panzer II was the most numerous tank type used by Germany in theBlitzkrieg. By the end of 1942 the Panzer II had been mostly withdrawn,though its chassis went on to form the basis of a range of differentweapons such as self-propelled artillery pieces and tank destroyers.Dragon has brought together a pair of such variants for its next collection of 1/35 scale plastic kits.

The two vehicles share the same detailed Panzer II chassis and lowerhull – including valuable Magic Tracks – but from there theirsuperstructures and weapons diverge. Both 1/35 scale kits are prime examples of Dragon’s engineering excellence. Each vehicle is anattractive modeling subject in its own right, and they come with agenerous selection of photo-etched parts. They may be small, but theseMarders and Bisons are crammed with stunning detail and will be a pleasure to assemble.
