These are 1/35 scale Samurai Warrior figures. They are a slight departure from Tamiyas usual military subjects as they depict Japanese samurai warriors from the tale of the "47 Ronin", a legend of revenge made famous in the West by the eponymous Hollywood movie. The kit comes with a wealth of information about clothing and customs in English. The included instruction manual is also an interesting source of reference for aficionados of Japanese history and culture.
