The Race Copter Controller
The Graupner Ultra Control 30 A Race BL Heli S is the ideal controller for all multi-copters, in particular race-copters, which are used in FPV racing. The 30 A Race combines a compact design, low weight, fast reaction times and optimized settings for race-copter.
The Ultra Control 30 A has the Open Source BLHeli S Software installed for standard servo pulse, Oneshot, Multishot and D-Shot 150, 300, 600. The aircraft ESC uses the modern 50 MHz Silabs processors. The processor has a clock rate two times faster than its predecessors. This grants higher maximum speeds as well as precise timing at high speeds.
The power amplifier is located in a 3.3 x 3.3 DFN package. The field effect transistors (FET) have an extremely low internal resistance (typically <1 mOhm). Special FET drivers ensure a more active freewheeling and better cooling of the power amplifiers.
The ceramic and tantalum capacitors used allow fast start-up times and guarantee high operational safety.
The controller has pre-activated the Damped Light mode. This allows a more precise flight behavior.
The Ultra Control 30 A Race detects normal (PPM) receiver pulses, but also OneShot, Multishot or D-Shot. The controller and servo travel are already optimized for the GR-18 and the race-copter settings. A 100 mm receiver cable is pre-installed.
The speed limit of the 30 A Race is 400.000 RPM with two-pole motors.
The 50 MHz Silabs processor of the 30 A can be updated and programmed using the Graupner update cable (No. 7168.6) and the included adapter.
