This CFRP main rotor blade was developed specifically for the Spirit L-16 electric helicopter. The symmetrical blade section and optimum blade CG position are ideal for extreme 3-D aerobatics. A special lamination technique, developed through many experiments, is employed to achieve outstandingly good torsional stiffness. The high-gloss surface and visible black carbon fibre cloth texture give the rotor blade a very impressive appearance. The 10 mm blade root is fitted with a metal-reinforced 4 mm retaining screw hole.
