Micro-processor controlled decoder module, providing full control of scale lighting systems in model vehicles such as trucks etc., plus proportional control of auxiliary functions.
This module can control all the usual standard and flashing light functions; the unit monitors the RC system’s throttle channel constantly, and uses that data to control the brake lights and reversing lights automatically. The module can also control two proportional servo channels, e.g. to operate the coupling of an articulated lorry or a digger bucket. The system includes zero-contact control signal transfer to the Trailer lighting set by means of a pulse-modulated infra-red signal. This method is not susceptible to interference, and allows several models to be run simultaneously. To control the functions the transmitter must be fitted with a Multi-Switch module or a Multi-Switch-Prop module. We recommend the use of the Lighting Multi-Switch module (No. 8412), as its controls are specially designed for this application.
Special features One decoder controls the whole lighting system plus auxiliary functions Relays can be connected directly Switched outputs protected against short-circuit No soldering required Integral On/Off switch and charge socket Dual battery connections Zero-contact infra-red trailer control system Can be powered by battery in trailer FM and PCM operation (robbe/Futaba transmitters)
