PICO 8 BEC Graupner 7171 By employing the latest micro-controllers and SMT FETs, and adopting special heat-sinks for cooling the FETs, we have succeeded in building the smallest, ligh-test and most powerful speed controllers for model aircraft and boats (without reverse function). It is the new design of heat-sink for aircraft and boat speed controllers which gives the units generous power reserves to cope with brief peak loads, e.g. the climb phase of a flight. The BEC circuit is designed to cope easily with brief peak currents as drawn by the latest generation of servos. The controller sets itself up automatically every time it is switched on, and the high pulse frequency ensures optimum efficiency and super-fine control characteristics. Replacement for 7170
