WP TAXI III mit OS MAX 46 LA Graupner 4661.M ARTF model of all-wood construction, film-covered. For 6.5 cc two-stroke motors. Very docile, neutral flying characteristics. nd is an excellent choice for the beginner, the modeller moving up from rudder/elevator, and also for simple aerobatics. The large-area wing features a semi-symmetrical modified Clark Y airfoil which is responsible for the TAXI IIIs very good-natured and neutral flying qualities. The model features a steerable nose wheel coupled to the rudder. The fuselage is assembled from lightweight plywood and balsa parts, while the one-piece wing is of conventional built-up construction. The fin and tailplane are of solid 6 mm balsa. All parts are supplied pre-covered with iron-on film. Completing the TAXI III involves just a few simple procedures such as gluing the tail panels to the fuselage, attaching the control surfaces, installing the motor mount, motor, fueltank and undercarriage, and fitting the RC system and linkages. You can complete the model as shown in the picture by applying the decals included in the kit. The model requires a 4-channel radio control system to operate the ailerons, rudder, elevator and throttle. The electric version, fitted with a SPEED GEAR 2.8:1 7.2 V motor and SANYO N7-2000 RC flight pack, produces flight times of around 10 minutes with judicious use of the throttle. The alternative SPEED 650 BB RACE 9.6 V direct-drive power plant gives flight times of about 6 minutes under the same conditions. Rudder
