WP SUPER MINI IMPULS4 WD Graupner 4857 A process of careful development on the proven
Mini IMPULS 10 4-WD off-road buggy has resulted in the new chassis for the SUPER Mini IMPULS
4-WD, featuring many technical refinements. Numerous specially designed parts and materials of outstanding quality ensure that the chassis is extra-rugged, offers superior functionality and
outstanding handling on sand and gravel tracks, and even on asphalt and closely mown grass.
The chassis components are assembled on a hard
eloxided aluminium competition chassis of cradle format with smooth underside. Carefully balanced weight distribution and ingenious chassis geometry provide excellent handling.
The front and rear axles are supported on long, reinforced double transverse arms with extended spring travel. Camber and toe-in are infinitely
adjustable by rotating the threaded rods.
Aluminium housings protect the three differentials. The ring gears in the front and rear differentials
feature helical-cut teeth and are made of hardened steel. Articulated shafts transmit motor power to front and rear axles. The large 75 cm³ fueltank
is equipped with a quick-release cap, pump knob and pressure nipple. The infinitely adjustable
oil-filled shock absorbers with volume compensa-tion are mounted on rugged, hard eloxided and
torsionally rigid shock absorber boards. 30 diffe-
rent adjustment points at the front and rear axles give the operator extensive scope for adjusting
the handling of the SUPER Mini IMPULS 4-WD to match the track conditions as closely as possible.
The rear axle is equipped with a stabiliser as
standard. An additional feature is a cam on the
stub axles which can be rotated to set rear wheel
toe-in of 0-2°. Lightweight enclosed wheels with studded tyres permit high speed through turns.
The factory-assembled chassis provides plenty
of space for the installation of the R/C system.
The spoiler is of high-strength nylon and is
mounted on an infinitely variable spoiler support. The clear polycarbonate bodywork can be painted in any colour scheme you like and decorated with the self-adhesive stickers provided. Power comes
from an OS MAX 15 RX high-performance
rear-exhaust motor fitted with a slide carburettor.
An exhaust manifold and silencer are supplied
as standard.
