WP SUKHOI SU 31 mitOS MAX 46 Graupner 6261.M The SUKHOI SU-31 is a renowned member of the select group of the worlds aerobatic aircraft which compete at international level in aerobatic competitions. The radial engine produces an impressive and unforgettably throaty sound. Our model is of compact size and low all-up weight, and is capable of flying accurate aerobatics even with relatively small two-stroke motors of around 7.45 cc capacity. Aerobatic pilots demand accurate response to control commands, and this requirement is fulfilled by the Sukhois carefully selected airfoil and moment arms. The SUKHOI SU-31 is a very capable model which does call for prior experience with full-house power aerobatic models. The high level of pre-fabrication makes it possible to assemble the model with very little effort. The motor mount and servo plate are factory-fitted in the fuselage to simplify the installation of the power plant and RC system. The model is a conventional all-wood structure, adequately reinforced at highly stressed areas, and factory-covered in film. The motor cowl and wheel spats are moulded in GRP and supplied pre-painted. The rudder and elevator linkages exploit the proven Direct-Steel-System (DSS), which ensures slop-free linkages to both control surfaces - a fundamental requirement for precise aerobatics. Assembly instructions including stage photos in German, English and French. Ready-made fuselage, wing panels, tailplane and fin, film-covered, GRP motor cowl and wheel spats, aluminium main undercarriage unit, tailwheel unit, spinner, fueltank, wheels, canopy, small items, linkage hardware pack.
