WP SPEED-RIDER NITROPIRATE 10 Graupner 4856 You love speed, you love fun - and you will love the SPEED-RIDER 4-WD. Based on the SUPER Mini IMPULS chassis with its impressive record of competition wins, and fitted with a powerful 3.5 cc pullstart motor, the SPEED-RIDER 4-WD Monster Buggy is a sophisticated, high-performance car. The running gear components are mounted on a cradle-type chassis with smooth underside, countersunk holes and a hard-eloxided finish.The front and rear axles consist of long, reinforced double transverse arms with extended spring travels. Threaded rods provide infinitely variable camber and toe-in. Large adjustable oil-filled shock absorbers with volume compensation are mounted on strong, hard-eloxided shock absorber boards. Well-balanced weight distribution and refined running gear geometry ensure very good handling even at high speed. The SPEED-RIDER 4-WD features 30 different adjustment points at the front and rear axles, enabling the operator to adjust the car´s handling accurately to suit the track conditions. All three differentials are enclosed in aluminium housings for protection. The crown gears of the front and rear differentials are made of hardened steel, while articulated joint shafts transmit motor power to the front and rear axles. The rear axle is equipped with a stabiliser bar as standard. The rear axle can also be adjusted simply by rotating cams on the stubaxles to provide rear wheel
toe-in within the range 0º - 2º. The 75 ml fueltank is fitted with a quick-release cap, pump knob and pressure nipple. The receiving system is accommodated in a splashproof RC box. The car is factory-fitted with a 3.5 cc rear-exhaust pullstart motor with a slide carburettor. Clutch and clutch bell are mounted on the motor as supplied, and the exhaust manifold and silencer are included in the pack. The high-strength moulded polycarbonate bodywork is supplied in a red painted finish, and two other bodywork mouldings, the one painted blue, the other yellow, are available as optional accessories. Just apply the self-adhesive decals and you´re ready for the track.
