WP PIPER CHEROKEE Graupner 9001 The new GRAUPNER PIPER CHEROKEE is a semi-scale model of the renowned full-size aircraft for SPEED 400 power. With its tricycle undercarriage, take-off and landing is straightforward from any smooth strip. The model is of high-quality lightweight construction; for example, all the panel lines of the original machine are simulated by black lines, giving the model an excellent scale appearance. The aeroplane is controlled by ailerons, rudder and elevator. The rudder is also coupled with the steerable nosewheel. Building instructions in German, English and French. All model components, including fuselage, wing and tail panels, are made of ultra-light 3 mm thick high-density foam. Most of the components are vacuum-moulded and supplied pre-coated with a thin decorative foil. They are supplemented with a number of painted vacuum-moulded parts. All control surfaces are attached using tape hinges. Pre-formed undercarriage unit, three 40 mm Ø foam rubber wheels, wheel spats, small items and linkage hardware pack. Rudder
