WP MIRAMARE Graupner 2116 NAVIGA´s decision to introduce a 1-metre class was based on a clear aim: to create a competition class for which the models would be simple to build and transport, and would therefore be especially attractive to the beginner. At the same time the models for the class were to have an excellent performance on the water, so that they could take part in exciting regatta races.
For modellers not interested in racing, but whose preference is for a high-performance boat with a realistic scale appearance complete with cabin and railings, we have produced a matching fittings set. The MIRAMARE sailing boat can be fitted with this set at any time.
The hull and other major components are moulded in ABS plastic, and these and other ready-made parts help to produce a kit which is very quick to build. The keel with its low-set ballast weight is easily removed for transport. The sails are factory-sewn in a special film material, and feature an integral profile or “belly”.
Quick-build plan showing RC installation, illustrated building instructions in German, English, French and Dutch. Moulded ABS plastic hull and other parts, printed and die-cut wooden parts, strip material and tubing, ready-made jib and mainsail, white plastic bow fender, keel fin and rudder blade, mast, shroud and stay rails and screws, boom fitting, plastic sealing plate, rigging cord, braided steel shrouds, self-adhesive stickers and small parts.
