WP GEE BEE R 2, Spannweite ca Graupner 6272 The GEE BEE R2 is one of the world´s most famous aircraft of all time. In the 1930s, in the early days of aircraft racing, the GEE BEE R2 made history. Then as now aircraft races were a fascinating and exciting experience for pilots and spectators alike. With its voluminous fuselage and short, stubby wings the R2 is easily distinguished from any other aeroplane. Like the full-size machine, our model is capable of exciting high-speed manoeuvres. Low passes along the strip, whether upright, inverted or knife-edge, are guaranteed to delight spectators and other pilots.
The GEE BEE R2 brings to life the thrilling atmosphere of 30s air racing at your model flying site. The model can be completed rapidly thanks to the high level of pre-fabrication. This applies in particular to the pre-painted GRP fuselage with factory-fitted formers, the GRP rudder and wheel fairings, which are also supplied ready painted. Building time is further reduced by the balsa-skinned wing panels and tailplane, which are supplied already film-covered. The decal sheet gives an impressive finishing touch to the model.
