WP F 16 A Graupner 6266 Although the F-16 is more than 25 years old, it is still classed as a top-rank fighter aircraft. The machine can survive very high G-loads, i.e. extreme manoeuvres, and that is why the aeroplane is flown successfully by the USAF »Thunderbirds« aerobatic team. A vast range of colour schemes have been applied to the aeroplane, ranging from military camouflage to many exotic special-purpose designs. Our model of the F-16 is a semi-scale version of the full-size, with carefully selected airfoils and moment arms to ensure harmonious flying characteristics. As a result, the F-16 forms a good choice for the beginner to model jets as well as for more experienced pilots. The removable wing and tail panels make the F-16 very easy to transport and straightforward to rig at the flying field. The model is designed for a single turbine with a rated thrust of 6 kg to 12 kg.
The high level of pre-fabrication means that the model is very quick to build, and requires no special tools or equipment. The model is designed for the proven tricycle set, Order No. 175 (pneumatic brakes), although the standard axles included in the kit have to be modified slightly. The model illustrated is finished in the colour scheme of the USAF »Thunderbirds« aerobatic team.

Comprehensive building instructions, GRP fuselage with some bulkheads factory-installed, all GRP parts white-pigmented, wing and tailplane panels balsa-sheeted. Ailerons attached using »elastic« hinges, servo mounts factory-fitted, all formers CNC-machined, clear moulded canopy, all small parts for completing the basic airframe, axles for the retractable undercarriage, Order No. 175 (not included in the kit).
