WP EXTRA 300 L, Spannw. ca. 1 Graupner 6282 The EXTRA 300 L currently ranks as one of the world´s best aerobatic aircraft. As prototype for our model we selected the well-known version belonging to Klaus Lenhart. Klaus Lenhart and his company are based close by at Kirchheim/Teck, and that is the reason for the “LEKI” placard: Lenhart / Kirchheim. The model is of conventional built-up all-wood construction, reinforced at critical areas. The major components - fuselage, wing and tail panels - are supplied ready-built and covered in red iron-on film. To complete the model all that is required is to join the wing panels, glue the tail panels to the fuselage, and install the glowplug motor and RC system. The rudder and elevators are actuated using the Direct Steel System (DSS), while the wing-mounted servos are installed immediately forward of the ailerons, ensuring accurate linkages to all control surfaces.
