Uni Mechanik 40 Graupner 1291.N The UNI-MECHANICS 40 is a self-supporting helicopter mechanics for two-stroke motors with a capacity of 7.5 cm³. The servos are now installed immediately below the swashpla te, producing a direct, slop-free linkage to the control functions; all mixing arrangements are now carried out by the transmitter electronics for superbly accurate control response. When installed in a fuselage kit the mechanics produces a model whose construction, based on high-strength vibration-absorbing glassfibre-reinforced nylon components, ensures low all-up weight and consequent high power: weight ratio. On the one hand experienced pilots can exploit the power reserves for spirited aerobatics, and on the other the beginner will find power to spare to cope with additional fittings such as a training landing gear etc. Factory-assembled mechanics including tail rotor (No. 1290.K with OS MAX 46 FX-HG motor). Comprehensive building instructions in German, English and French. Thrust bearings on main and tail rotor, auto-rotation freewheel, high-efficiency radial cooling fan, glowplug connection, 415 ml fueltank, fuel filter, fuel tubing, starter adaptor, push-rods, CG-optimised reflex-section wooden main rotor blades, GRP tail rotor blades, small parts. The model can only be flown with a radio control system equipped with special helicopter facilities, such as the mc-14, mc-15, mc-16/20, mc-20 or mc-24. The minimum requirement is a radio control system with a 3-point swashplate mixer and control channels for five servos for the functions pitch-axis, roll-axis, collective pitch, tail rotor and throttle.
