ULTRA 1300-12 H Graupner 6363 High-performance ULTRA-BRUSH motors with cooling fan.
These motors are fitted with a radial fan. The cooling air is routed through the motor over the commutator to dissipate a large proportion of the heat produced there. The consumption of the fan is insignificant. The fan greatly reduces or eliminates the cooling-off phase between two flights. These motors are also suitable for flying models and boats where cooling by a fan seems to be advantageous. In the helicopter application the motors are operated at much higher voltage than is stated in the table for operating voltage range:
