Rumpf und DeckP5 Graupner 2144.5 NEPTUN is a freelance design of a cargo motor ship. Thanks to simple construction it should be particularly suitable for the junior modeller. The superstructures can be moved from their normal position over the center hatch to one over the aft hatch. This permits building the model either as a cargo vessel or as a container transport. Contain ers are available as a supplementary set.
Profusely pre-fabbed components, such as hull, superstructures, life boats and cranes etc. simplify the assembly and shorten the building time. The use of plywood for the decks in place of plastic parts is the result of numerous requests by ship modellers. This 5-kit pack offers shipmodelling clubs an economy-priced solution. The breakdown into hull and superstructuers, resp., provides a wide choice of possible configurations. The superstructures, for example, can be arranged in various ways. NEPTUN is an ideal entry-level model to ship-modelling.
