COMPUTERSYSTEM PCM-12X 40MHz Graupner 4741.M2 35 MHz band / 35 MHz B-band. 50 model memories.
The PCM12X offers ambitious pilots of gliders, power models and helicopters the highest level of sophisticated programming functions packed into a user-friendly magnesium case. A high-resolution graphic screen, ballraced stick units and a telescopic aerial with swivelling ball-and-socket base contribute to convenience. Theprogramming procedure is straightforward even for the inexperienced modeller, as it is controlled using just four buttons and a digital 3-D ROTARY control which operates on two levels.

Ergonomically efficient magnesium case
Backlit screen
Keypad confirmation beeps (switchable)
High-resolution screen and the use of grey scalesensure perfect monitoring and accurate graphic representation of curves, characteristic lines and operating channels
PLL Synthesizer, eliminates the need for plug-in crystals
Band monitor enables the modeller to check the frequency band or channel before flying the model
Model type icon: graphic display of model type(fixed-wing / helicopter)
Three digital trims and one analogue trim with variable trim increment size Variable-length ballraced stick units with adjustable spring tension
3-D cylinder rotary encoder in conjunction with four programming buttons for accurate settings and great programming convenience
Dialogue menu in English
Helicopter, Acro and Glider operating modes
Device Select for assigning switches
Four stick position switch programs, e.g. for starting the stopwatch at a particular position of the throttle stick
Five (fixed-wing) and six (helicopter) flight phases available; phases can be assigned namesconsisting of up to six alpha-numeric characters
Switch monitor for simple graphic control of all physical switches and control switches
Mixer monitor for displaying results of mixers
Servo monitor for simple graphic checking of all servo travels
Programmable throttle switch (e.g. to "motor off" for I.C. engines, for auto-rotation in the case of helicopters, or full-throttle for electric gliders), with Hold Delay in helicopter mode for slow servo movements when switching between flight phases, e.g. when practising auto-rotation landings.
Flap trim switch, accessed using the right index finger
Trims can be switched on or off globally or in specific flight phases
Sub-trim for fine adjustment of servo centre
Wing select (normal, flaperon, delta, aileron (two servos per aileron)
Servo output expansion to two channels for ailerons, rudder, elevators, flaps
Display of modulation on the LCD screen
Model select / model copy for fifty model memories
Model name with up to sixteen letters
Name input using clearly set-out character table
Programmable »Throttle too high« warning threshold, also applicable to any other stick positions
Servo reverse and travel adjustment
Dual Rate / Expo for each flight phase
Variable servo speed for each servo in every flight phase, range 0.193 s to 16.4 s for 60° servo travel
Differential function (e.g. for ailerons), variable separately for up and down directions
Balancing of two servo outputs at seven points (e.g. to compensate for imperfect linkage geometry)
Gyro control program: for selecting three different settings of two gyros in flight, or up to five settings for flight phases
Speed governor (regulator) function: independentrotational speed settings for each flight phase
Analogue hover function switches from the digital trim to the rotary proportional knob (AUX 4 and 5, front panel).
Three standard (linear) mixers and five(fixed-wing) or four (helicopter) eight-point curve mixers (for non-linear applications, e.g. tail rotor) with graphic display
Mixers (Acro): aileron to rudder, elevator to flap, rudder to aileron / elevator, aileron to flap
Mixers (Heli): virtual swashplate rotation, 3-D cyclic ring, cyclic to throttle
Mixers (Glider): flap to flaperon, flap to aileron, aileron to flap, aileron to outboard aileron, flap to elevator, rudder to spoiler, aileron to rudder
Speed reduction setting for gliders, affectsspoilers, flaperons, flaps, outboard ailerons and elevator
Pitch curve mixer (eight-point, e.g. for variable-pitch propeller)
Mixers for twin-engine models (fixed-wing) and twin collective pitch servos (helicopter)
V-tail mixer
Flap function for elevator compensation withprogrammable delay (up to two seconds in 0.1 s increments) and auto-landing function (from a particular throttle position flaps are immediately retracted - useful for going round again if a landing approach fails).
Helicopter swashplate mixers for 1-point, 2-point, 3-point or 4-point linkage (one servo normal - mechanical mixing, two servos 180°, 3 servos 120° CCPM, 3 servos 140° CCPM, 3 servos 90° CCPM, 4 servos 90° CCPM)
Electronic 3-D cyclic ring function prevents mechanical fouling when undefined control commands are given.
Variable trim increment size
Limited standard trim function can be activated (only the servo centre is trimmed; end-points are not affected)
Alarm and Timer function: one timer monitors thetotal time for the current model memory, while two additional timers can be configured as count-down timer (with interval function) or stopwatch. Timers can be programmed to be controlled by various switches.
Programmable warning function if flight phase, switch position or throttle stick position are incorrect when the transmitter is switched on, or if alarm beeps are to be generated in flight at particular stick positions.
DSC socket
Trainer (teacher / pupil) system with individual or total control transfer
Comprehensive curve mixers for fixed-wing models / helicopters (e.g. throttle curve)
