Cooling fan for accelerated cooling of NC battery packs. NC cells become hot during the discharge process and must be allowed to cool before being fast-charged. The cooling fan shortens the cooling-off period substantially. The fan draws a very low current of about 200 mA.
The unit can be connected either to a 12 V car battery or a separate NC battery consisting of 10–14 NC cells, using a two-pin AMP connector. The cooling fan can accommodate up to 30 NC cells at the same time. The duct will even take what are known as double packs, for example SANYO TWIN-PACK 19.2 V/1.7 Ah, No. 3245.
