One of the most famous road races of all time the Targa Florio was agruelling 10 lap race around the public roads that wind their way roundthe island of Sicily. In 1967 it was a round of the internationalmanufacturers championship, and cars from all over the world flocked to compete.
This glorious 412P was entered by Herbert Muller and Jean Guichet, butsadly suffered a differential problem on the tortuous route and failedto finish. But a car as wild and as exciting as this prototype racersurely looked just as amazing on the mountain roads as it does on your Scalextric track!
