The BTR-80A is a further development of the Russian BTR-80 armored personnel carrier. The new version features an improved turret capable of fi ring up to 70 degrees in elevation and engaging both helicopters and aircraft at a range of up to 4000 meters. The vehicle is also equipped with a tank night sight, which enables it to hit targets at a distance of up to 9000 meters at night.
